Traditional Wedding Music

This is my go-to list for traditional wedding music. When the couple asks for typical or classic wedding music but has no particular requests, I draw from the following list and make sure that it fits the timing of the ceremony. I may sometimes work in contemporary wedding music if I need additional last-minute¬†material. This list comes from The Perfect Wedding Songbook, and the songs should be easy to find online. Wedding Pianist: 2013 Review

Wedding Pianist: 2013 Review This was definitely my busiest year playing piano for weddings. In 2013, I had the privilege of helping everything run smoothly as couple after couple committed their lives to each other – it is quite an honor! I usually play for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception – or some combination of the three. The ceremony is typically traditional weddings songs or other inspirational music, while the cocktail hour and reception are mostly jazz standards and occasional requests.
