Wedding Pianist: 2013 Review

Wedding Pianist: 2013 Review

This was definitely my busiest year playing piano for weddings. In 2013, I had the privilege of helping everything run smoothly as couple after couple committed their lives to each other – it is quite an honor!

I usually play for the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception – or some combination of the three. The ceremony is typically traditional weddings songs or other inspirational music, while the cocktail hour and reception are mostly jazz standards and occasional requests.

Below are several pictures from wedding ceremonies I played for in 2013 in and around Washington, DC.

Weddings are always such a happy time for families and friends, and it’s great fun to be part of that scene so often. I already have a couple of weddings booked for 2014 … off to a great start!

Congratulations to all 🙂
