Ensembles

Having played for hundreds of events, when making his recommendation about which music ensemble would best fit the occasion, Jay considers the purpose, duration, overall programming, and the size of the venue, among other variables. What works best is often one (or a combination) of the following:

Solo Piano

Solo Piano

Live solo piano is an elegant addition to dinner parties, wedding ceremonies, and more. While on-location pianos are preferred, this portable setup also gets the job done very well. Listen to sample solo piano tracks from two genres: jazz and inspirational.
Jazz Duo

Jay's soulful piano accompanies Tessa's smooth and nimble vocals as they work their way through some of the most famous jazz standards that we all know and love.
Jazz Bands

Jazz Bands

One of the most quintessential jazz ensembles is the jazz trio, brought to the mainstream by Bill Evans. Jay often plays in a jazz trio (comprised of piano, drums, and bass) and sometimes with a horn player or two on top. These jazz combos create a classy and vibrant atmosphere suitable for large parties which will last for several hours.
Orchestra
