A Melodious Return to the Heurich House Museum

Returning to the Heurich House Museum to play on their golden piano was a truly enchanting experience. As part of the First Friday Dupont event, the museum was abuzz with visitors, all eager to explore the rich history and vibrant atmosphere of this historic home.

The Theme: Children of the Heurich House This month’s theme focused on the children of the Heurich House, all born just after the turn of the century. It was fascinating to delve into their hobbies and daily lives, especially their passion for music. The golden piano, a centerpiece of the home’s musical heritage, resonated with the melodies of the past as I played, attempting to bring to life the sounds that once filled these halls.

Beer garden behind the Heurich House MuseumA Lively Beer Garden Adding to the charm of the evening was the lively beer garden in the backyard. The garden was filled with laughter and conversation, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was a perfect complement to the musical performances inside, offering visitors a chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Looking Forward to Winter Performances My trio and I are particularly excited about performing in the beer garden this winter for a Christmas Market. The cozy ambiance and the historical backdrop of the Heurich House will undoubtedly make for memorable performances. We can’t wait to share our music with the visitors and contribute to the rich cultural tapestry of this iconic location.
