Aspen Church Service
Tessa and I were in Aspen, CO for a wedding last weekend, and a few days beforehand the groom asked if I’d play piano for the Christian Science Sunday church services in downtown Aspen.
Since they don’t have a regular pianist, I was expecting only a mediocre piano with questionable tuning, but to my pleasant surprise and delight, they have a Steinway grand that sounds lovely.
It was a grand joy to play, especially inside such a beautiful church. The wedding was splendid and we can’t wait to go back to Aspen!
