Real Pianos at the Tabard Inn
The Tabard Inn is a special place. The dark corners, overstuffed cozy furniture, period decorations, and real fireplace (you know, actually burning real wood) make it feel like you’ve stepped into a old travelers’ inn somewhere just outside of Dublin in the early 1900’s. No one had Irish accents and it didn’t smell like whisky, but even while serving brunch and offering wifi, The Tabard Inn still comes from a different time.
What does every place like this need (at least in my eyes)? A piano or two! Which is what makes the Tabard Inn extra special 🙂 I played both pianos (rooms 24 and 26) for a wedding and reception last weekend and look forward to going back soon! If not to play, at least to have brunch …
