Organ in NYC
I was back in New York City yesterday, playing organ for a conference at Eighth Church of Christ, Scientist. It’s a great medium-sized organ with great richness and depth of sound, and very effective shutters when it comes to volume control. For the end-of-day postlude I had been arranging one of my piano pieces for organ, and it came off pretty well! The piece was Before You Open Your Eyes.
